OUR SUPPORTERS
Over the past seven years, many other organizations have expressed their opposition to:

(a) the Jefferson County decision to grant Fred Hill Materials a 690-acre mining district (MRL), (b) the proposed 165-acre Fred Hill Materials strip mining operation, and/or (c) the Fred Hill Materials pit-to-pier project itself.

While most of these organizations are not formally members of the Hood Canal Coalition, their parallel efforts to preserve Hood Canal and prevent the development of a huge industrial harbor facility on its shoreline are critical to the defense of this precious part of our natural heritage. We are pleased to acknowledge their support.
